What are Bluebird candles made of?
Our candles are hand-poured with natural soy wax, premium essential and fragrant oils, and wood wicks that crackle softly as they burn.
How long do your candles burn?
Our 12 oz. jar burns for 75+ hours and our 7 oz. jar for 50+ hours. Each pack of wax potpourri has 6 cubes, and each cube lasts about 8 hours.
How do I light and care for a wood wick candle?
Our wood wicks don't need to be trimmed before the first lighting. Burn your candle at least 1.5 to 4 hours each time to avoid tunneling, and keep it lit until a full melt pool is reached; otherwise the wick may eventually drown. Always trim the wick before relighting: blow out the candle, let the wax solidify, then break off the burnt ash with your fingers or a paper towel (we turn the candle upside down so ash doesn't fall onto the wax). Wicks may need trimming after about 4 hours of burning. If the flame is too high after relighting, trim the wick further with nippers or a nail clipper. Read our full candle care tips.
What is wax potpourri?
Wax potpourri melts have no wick. They're made for use in any electric or tea light wax warmer. Each pack contains 6 cubes, and each cube lasts about 8 hours.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat $7.99 within the continental United States (the lower 48 states). Orders of $100.00 and over ship free.
When will my order ship?
Orders generally leave our shop within 3–5 business days via UPS or USPS. Delays may occur during certain times of the year. If your USPS and UPS shipping addresses are not the same, please let us know.
Do you ship outside the lower 48 states?
Currently we ship within the continental United States only.
Can I return a candle?
You may request a return on candles in their original condition within 30 days. Bath and body items are not eligible for return, and returns without prior approval will not be accepted. To start a return, email sales@bluebirdcandle.com or call 315-376-2473 with your order number and the reason for the return.

Where are your products made?
Our candles, soaps, lotions, and sprays are made at our shop in Lowville, New York, USA. Bluebird Candle Company began in a farmhouse kitchen in 2001 and moved to its facility in 2007.
